Rustic, Old World?
B. Choose a budget. As with all things, wood flooring runs the gamut from the inexpensive to the exorbitant.
In this process, you need to be confident in the quality of the product.
C. Your budget will now determine the type of product you are looking for: Pre-finished, Custom finished, Solid,
etc.
C. Overall flooring thickness should be at least 1/2", as thinner products tend to contour to the subfloor too much
and highlight the imperfections in the subfloor.
